My number one goal, when you attend one of my classes is to ensure you receive maximum benefit out of your practice. So when classes are too large or we have numerous new people starting at the same time I find it’s not possible to come around and have a few moments of one-on-one to correct alignment, acknowledge your emotional space or encourage you through the asana personally. I need you to fit in with what else is going on around and this means you have to be prepared to be the beginner amongst a few of my regulars. You see many of my clients have been with me for quite some time.
I love the fact that these beautiful souls have been with me for some time; and when you attend a class as a newbie that can be daunting. But guess what? This community of yogis and yoginis are truly the most welcoming bunch of people ever. When you attend you will be made to feel like you are one of a great family.
The classes you attend at Old Petrie Town are small, intimate classes with a real community feel. Everyone who attends my classes become my family. I care about each and every client that comes and will do my best to ensure you get what you need from each class. I feel humbled by the students who repeatedly turn up for a yoga class, rain, hail, shine; summer or winter. I feel privileged to offer yoga to these students and it leaves me wanting to offer more; acknowledgement during practice, connection on a deeper level and nurturing that part of community they bring into the space. Therefore I seek people who want to become part of this yoga family. One catch though you, not only must you be committed to yourself but you must be committed to helping support this small community of 8 years and who wish to connect with other like-minded individuals.
If you are new to yoga and want to try it in a safe, small private settings please join me in class. Your first class is free when you commit to a 12 week program.
