Water can help control calories. Next time you get that craving for a sugary drink, a cup of tea or coffee or wanting to nibble on a snack try a glass of water instead. Water can make you feel full. Pay close attention to the sensations next time you crave something and then have a glass of water. Note the sensation after. Make a comparison to how you felt before and after. Try it for a couple of weeks. See if there are any differences in those cravings.
Feeling fatigued? Could be you are not getting enough water. Water can energize your muscles. Cell dehydration can leave us feeling tired and lacking in energy. Muscles that are not well hydrated cannot work at full capacity. Water lubricates cells and helps muscles to contract and relax. A dehydrated muscle may spasm and cramp.
Water is the elixir for youthfulness. Your skin will be plump and pretty if you drink adequate water. You will glow if you have enough of the compound H2O in you system. Dehydrated cells don’t always look pretty. Without enough water you could end up with more wrinkles then necessary. Water also removes toxins from the body and a body that is free of toxins is a healthy body. It is a health body that will have a natural glow of youthfulness.
Ensure that you are getting enough water each day by being mindful of your fluid intake. Adults on average should be drinking 2 – 3 litres of water a day. Keep a bottle of water and a glass at your primary work station. Carry a bottle of water with you wherever you go. Have a glass of water every time you walk passed the water bubbler at work. Work out a way that you can be mindful of that amount of water you drink every day.
