Thank goodness there is a panacea for these stresses and discomforts. This remedy is yoga. Of course I might be a little bit biased because I am a yoga instructor after all. But I see the benefits of yoga certainly complimenting other therapies such as massage to offer women the answer the stresses and discomforts of pregnancy. In fact I would even see yoga offering an opportunity for women to be empowered during their pregnancy.
Pregnancy is a time of great expectations. It can be a joyful and happy time. It doesn’t have to be a time of stress and pain. For some women they certainly seem to put on that pregnancy glow right from conception. However during pregnancy there is a lot of trips to the doctors, visits to the midwives, hospitals and just handing over your body to other people – even that beautiful little jellybean growing inside of you.
